Delete your account

This page explains how Moodbux users can request deletion of their account and associated personal data.

How to request account deletion

  1. Email moodbux@gmail.com with the subject line "Moodbux Account Deletion Request".
  2. Include the email address or phone number connected to your Moodbux account.
  3. We may ask you to verify your identity before processing the request.
  4. After verification, we will delete or anonymize eligible account data from active systems within 30 days.

Data deleted with your account

  • Your Moodbux account profile, including name, email address, phone number, and profile details.
  • Saved recipient contacts, occasions, reminders, gift messages, and gifting preferences connected to your account.
  • Account authentication records used to let you sign in to Moodbux.
  • Support request content that is not required for legal, safety, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes.

Data we may keep for a limited time

  • Transaction, payment, delivery, tax, accounting, refund, and fraud-prevention records may be retained for up to 7 years where required by law or legitimate business obligations.
  • Records needed to resolve disputes, enforce our terms, protect users, or comply with legal requests may be retained for as long as necessary for those purposes.
  • De-identified or aggregated analytics data that cannot reasonably identify you may be kept to improve Moodbux.
  • Encrypted backups may retain deleted data for up to 90 days before being overwritten through our normal backup cycle.

Delete data without deleting your account
