Delete selected data

This page explains how Moodbux users can request deletion of some or all eligible personal data without deleting their account.

How to request data deletion

  1. Email moodbux@gmail.com with the subject line "Moodbux Data Deletion Request".
  2. Include the email address or phone number connected to your Moodbux account.
  3. Tell us what data you want deleted, such as reminders, saved recipients, gift messages, support content, or optional profile details.
  4. We may ask you to verify your identity before processing the request.
  5. After verification, we will delete or anonymize eligible data from active systems within 30 days.

Data you can ask us to delete

  • Saved recipient contacts, occasions, reminders, and gifting preferences.
  • Gift messages, notes, or optional profile details you added to Moodbux.
  • Marketing preferences and non-essential support information connected to your account.
  • Other personal data associated with your Moodbux account, where deletion is legally and technically possible.

Data we may keep

  • Account sign-in details needed to keep your Moodbux account active, unless you request full account deletion.
  • Transaction, payment, delivery, tax, accounting, refund, and fraud-prevention records may be retained for up to 7 years where required by law or legitimate business obligations.
  • Records needed to resolve disputes, enforce our terms, protect users, or comply with legal requests may be retained for as long as necessary for those purposes.
  • Encrypted backups may retain deleted data for up to 90 days before being overwritten through our normal backup cycle.
  • De-identified or aggregated analytics data that cannot reasonably identify you may be kept to improve Moodbux.
